Free Marketing Ad Sites - Best Classified Ad Websites For Online Marketing
Best Classified Ad Sites
In my opinion, the best ad sites should meet a few levels of criteria and have certain key features.
It's Free
There are too many free resources that are good on the Internet for you to be paying to place any ad online. The main reason is there are no guarantees as to traffic and visibility of the ad. You will also most likely place more than 1 or even 5 ads.
It Allows for HTML links
A major key to a classified ad site that I will use is that it allows me to place html outbound links on the ad. Not all classified ad sites allow it.
It can be indexed by a Search Engine
A major benefit to a good classified ad site is not only the people searching for the ad within their system, but the ability for Google and other search engines to index it.
Length of Ad Expiration
One of the things that bothers me about Craig's List and a few of the other ad sites that are most known is the short expirations. 7 days, or even 30 days can seem short and be frustrating to renew. This is especially true with Craig's List because they don't even tell you when the ad expires. That annoys me.

Beat The Bad Economy - Start Your Own Website Business
It may seem easy for someone who makes their living on the Internet and consults for others to say "start a web business in this bad economy" but it truly is the best time - if you do it right, slow and know where to get help if you need it.
If you work a full time job now and are fearing the future of that employment (perhaps rightly so) - consider a web based business. It may not be your ticket to riches or even be self sustaining but it can bring in that extra money when you need it and a web site, as long as it is registered - can truly make money "forever"
Choose something you are interested in or have experience in. I am a search engine optimization expert consultant and the biggest aspect of the Internet that web business owners underestimate is content. Writing out what you know and have experience in.
The money will come if the love and passion are there. In a bad economy - it may be the best time for you. Don't wait for someone else to cut off your income.

HTML Titles - How To Create HTML Browser titles
HTML Browser Titles
A website that does not have proper formatted HTML Titles or does not have them set up strategically or page specific will simply underperform on search engines. Many website webmasters and owners like to lock into being focused on Meta Tags and simply put a non thought out html title. It truly is one of the most misunderstood and underused areas of proper search engine optimization.
What are they?
The html browser title is the title or words you see when you are searching on Google or other search engine. The results that appear will have a summary title that is a link. It’s usually in blue and it is what you would click when you want to visit that site from the search results page. It is also the phrase or groups of words you see at the top of your window browser when you are actually on the site. It is not on the website itself or in the body.
If you view the source code of a website (the actual script language in notepad), you will see tags like this: Katie’s Flower Baskets Home Page. That is actually a bad home page html title. It is readable on the site though.
When the website is created, each page is set up as their own entity or should be. The website pages that rank well are the ones who match their content (which is important as well of course) with proper html browser titles so the search engines can get a clearer picture of what the site is about. It is most important to learn and understand that each page should have it’s own unique html title that is specific to the page itself. It’s best to give an example of a company and optimize some titles so it is understood easier.
